WELCOME TO OUR ACADEMY "I have spent many years in the development of tennis in the UK, being involved in adult and junior coaching programmes at numerous venues throughout London and the Home Counties. Gap Year Tennis offers students a once in a lifetime opportunity. As well as intensive work on tennis playing, students will be encouraged to take up the option of Spanish lessons and also to gain a full tennis coaching qualification. The management team of Gap Year Tennis is headed up by Diana Wilkinson B.A. (Hons), who has worked in the business of tennis in the United Kingdom for 30 years. Her experience is unrivalled in the world of tennis.
Gap Year Tennis is proud to announce that it is now also offering tennis holidays based at Hacienda del Alamo. The head of the holiday division is Phil Vivian, a UK based tennis professional with over 30 years experience. Phil is qualified as an LTA CCA licensed coach, a PTR Academy Professional and tutor and is also registered with the Registro Profesional de Tenis as a European Professional.
The Spanish Gap Year Tennis programme is run by brothers, Dani and Miguel Dios, based at the 5 star Hacienda del Alamo Golf and Leisure resort. As well as training the Gap Year students they will be organising and running the on court tennis holiday programs. They have many years experience as top level professional coaches with plenty of tour experience. Dani was ranked 500 in the world on the ATP tour!
