THE FUTURES SERIES

Gap Year Tennis also hopes to find and nurture players of a world class calibre.  In such an instance players will be selected and guided through the rather dauting, but extremely exciting, process of competiton on the World Futures Series tour.  Gap Year Tennis aims to gain world ranking points for its top players.

Futures tours are organised in a 3 week series and will usually be to countries outside Europe for those players who do not at present have a world ranking.  Gap Year Tennis will help with all aspects of tournament entry, preparation, and travel.  Players without rankings will be guided through the qualifying process and Gap Year Management will endeavour to achieve entry to suitable events around the world.

One win for a man in a main draw of a Futures Series event will guarantee that player a world ranking.  It is easier for the ladies who only need to gain part points through wins in the qualifying rounds.  Gap Year Tennis aims to simplify and clarify the rather daunting and complicated process of gaining entry into these world events.  Entry into the British Tour events is automatically guaranteed to any player with a world ranking....that is our aim.
