MurciaNobody visits Murcia just once. Once they have seen it they will return again and again until they finally buy a house there! This is because Murcia is the sunniest place in Spain with an average year-round temperature of 21 degrees and a historical legacy handed down over 25 centureis by the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Carthaginians and Arabs. It has international schools, modern hospitals, a complete communications network, fabulous restaurants, a famous market garden and, of course, the beaches alongside warm, crystal waters.
However the best thing about Murcia is its people. The people who sell you your bread, who wait on you in the restaurants, or those you meet when you simply ask for directions on the street. The people of Murcia are friendly and happy by nature. The folklore is proof of this. Their countless festivals, such a El Entierro de la Sardina, Los Caballos del Vino, or Cartaginenses y Romanos. In the latter festival, the people of Cargagena don costumes and commemorate the epic battles that makr their history. Other examples are Chrismas and Holy Week, in which people in Murcia, Lorca or Cartagena flcok to the streets to watch the famous processions, of the parade of the Three Wise Men. Murcia is a province that shines, and this does not refer only to the Mediterranean twilight, or to the blue and orange colours of its skies all your reound. It has been proven that the glow of Murcia, the glow of the Mediterranean Sea makes its residents happier. Murcia has more than 180 beaches along its entire coast. All are spectacular and many are classified with the blue flag. They are worth seeing and fortunately it will take you many days to see them all and enjoy the variety.
